How i guessed doing a parody is not so easy. But at the same time is very funny try to found similar sounds of the words.. I had a lot of fun searching words that rime with WALL. I know ball, tall, call, fall etc.. but to contextualize the rime with the theme is very complicated.. Look my post “We don’t know who is the fault” and post your coments about it. Remember that the original song is “ Another brick in the wall” You can note that is not the exactly the same rythm but is a very good exercise to do with advanced students. Practicing their vocabulary, listening and grammar constructions.
As a student i really like the activity, but its hard think and write with noise and people talk around. Would be better if we had more time to do the parody.
As a teacher. I could use this kind of exercise to develop the student's orality proposing them to make a video clip with the parody written.
